10 days of activities for everyone!
The Festival du doré Baie-James’s fishing tournament has been held annually on the shores of lake Opémisca since 1999. Located just a few kilometres west of Chapais, in northern Quebec, this outstanding fishing site has become the gathering point for festival-goers.
Fishermen and women of all ages, as well as family and friends, are invited to participate in the province’s most renowned walleye fishing tournament and all its proposed activities.
The fishing tournament is divided into two main categories: Amateur - Princecraft and Professional - PRO-VIP. In the Amateur – Princecraft category, there are three subcategories: women, youth and seniors.
